Elk @ the golf course

There goes the neighborhood...

Over the weekend, a group of 20 elk came down and got hemmed into the driving range, a couple blocks from the house. I don't know if they had to be herded out, but they stayed for two days, and now they're gone. The past two days have felt like spring, and the warm temps have reduced the snowpack around the house significantly. Still a few inches on the grass though.
