Skyline anomaly
I was sitting in the office Tuesday at sunset staring out the window. An unusual nub on the horizon prompted me to grab the binoculars from the bookcase and go to the window. A bull elk was grazing on the ridgetop with the sky as a background. Although the elk was over half a mile away, it was an inspiring scene with the sky behind.
The view from the house. The elk is a nub about an inch from the right side of the frame. Click on the image for a bigger version.
I could see two deer with him not too far away.
His rack seemed oversized for his body.
Valentine's day powder.
We've got more storms lined up for the weekend. So good for the water reserves, but when will spring arrive?
Floatin on the freshies.
This towering "tree" is in fact a two-foot tall twig.

At least I'm able to live 'real' life through you Blog. Thank you, and keep it coming.
